This promotion is open to all Mastercard cardholders who are at least 18 years old and who hold a Singapore-issued Mastercard credit, debit or prepaid card with contactless payment function.
No, it applies to all issuing banks of Mastercard contactless cards.
Employees of TransitLink and Mastercard and their respective subsidiaries and holding companies; and associated agencies and other entities involved in the conduct, implementation and/or administration of the Promotion determined by TransitLink in its sole discretion.
The promotion is valid from 12:00 AM (Singapore time) on 20th March 2017 to 11:59 PM (Singapore time) on 19th September 2017.

Participants must:

  1. Register for an Account-Based Ticketing (ABT) account at the TransitLink ABT Portal at https://www.transitlink.com.sg/abt
  2. Add his/her Mastercard credit, debit or prepaid card with contactless payment functionality into the Transitlink ABT account; and
  3. Use the contactless payment function of his/her Mastercard card to pay for the fares for MRT train, LRT train and public bus rides in Singapore
The top 200 Mastercard cardholders with the highest number of qualifying payment transactions in each qualifying period will be entitled to receive a rebate worth S$80.00.

A Mastercard cardholder may only use one (1) Mastercard card to accumulate the qualifying payment transactions. The Promotion is limited to one Mastercard Card per Mastercard Cardholder, regardless of the number of Mastercard cards that are registered in the Mastercard Cardholder’s TransitLink ABT account.
Qualifying Payment Transactions that were accumulated on a Mastercard Card added to the TransitLink ABT account is non-transferable to another Mastercard Card should the Mastercard Cardholder change his/her added Mastercard Card during the Promotion Period.
The winner will be notified via an email from TransitLink. If any winner cannot be contacted for any reason or is unable to or does not comply with any of these Terms and Conditions, TransitLink shall be entitled to disqualify such winner and forfeit the Rebate awarded to such winner.

HOW TO AVOID CARD CLASH

If you have more than one contactless payment card (Mastercard, Ezlink, NETS FlashPay or others) in your wallet or purse, you might experience card clash.

Card clash happens when the reader detects more than one card from the same tap. As a result, the following could occur:

  • You get an error because the reader does not know which card to read; or
  • The reader makes a deduction from a card you did not intend to use; or
  • You could be charged the maximum fare more than once because multiple cards are detected at once; or
  • You could be charged the maximum fare twice if you tap in and out using different cards
To avoid this, always tap in and out with your registered Mastercard contactless card only.
